Combat Vet Riders

JUST GO BACK FROM MY THIRD TOUR IN IRAQ WITH THE NORTH CAROLINA ARMY NATIONAL GUARDS AND HAVE BEEN ON A FEW GOOD RIDES WITH THE ROLLING THUNDER AND PATRIOT GUARD RIDERS AND HAVE MET SOME GREAT FOLKS. MY QUESTION IS ARE THERE A GROUP OF CVR CLOSE TO CHARLOTTE MY BUDDIES AND I CAN HOOK UP WITH. SSG ARMSTRONG WAYNE B CO. 1/252 COMBAT ARMS BATT. 30TH HEAVY BRIGADE COMBAT TEAM

I just want to give a giant THANKS to each and every one of you!!!! Even though my bike went down almost in the beginning of the POW/MIA Poker Run, I have never witnessed a, dare I say, nicer and more concerned group of riders. All and all it was a great ride, my bike problems aside. Looking forward to riding with the group again soon. Your group of Vets, well all Vets for that fact, do and will always get my deepest respect as I myself am not a Veteran but come from a large Military and Patriotic Family with a Brother in Iraq as I write this. Ok I rambled on long enough, looking forward to seeing each and every one of you soon. Respectfully, Tony

Caught your patch on a picture from Lunchbox. Commendable action with the change to support the veterans in your area. I agree that state lines are inapproprate to divide a group. SD CVMA is internally divided. Since I'm in Spearfish, WY is actually better for me. Let me know when you all are in Spearfish area, a beer is on me. Usually home July 25 - Aug 20. Hey I saw you guys today (May 9th) on your memorial ride, it was so great to see so much support and to know that people like you are out there. Hopefully soon I will be doing the same thing with you all. Because of what you do and what you stand for really makes me have that much more pride in what I did and still do. I cant wait to take part in your organization. PS I was in the Les Schwab Truck waving as you rode by on Indiana/ NW Blvd. Keep the rubber side down and I'll see you all soon.
