General meeting minutes

6 June 2025

Call to order: 1830 Members/auxiliary & guests 53

Officers present: President; Jeremiah, Vice President; Scout, Sargent at arms; Sweed, Secretary; Dawg, Treasure; Elvis and Spider, Advocates; Digger, Hansel and Skite.

Pledge, Moment of silence: SA.

Steve Smith, From Honor Guard. They need volunteers to help with Honor guard events. If interested contact Sweed (509) 638-7746.

President’s report:

RESPECT: Saying hi to other club members. When wearing our cut and out riding around it is expected of us to say hi. Whether at a gas station, restaurant, grocery store or on the road. A head nod and/or lower peace sign will suffice when in traffic.

Thank you to those who stepped up and stood watch, and participated in the Memorial weekend rides, events.

Keep up the good work.

Vice president’s report:

Please leave Jeremiah and Little Momma alone, they have enough on their plate as it is.

Thank you Stitch for the memorial rides and placing flags at the graves.

Newby-Byers’s ride 6-28-25. Ginger and Scout are working on the route. Included on the ride is Captains wheel in Bay View. The ride will end at the Bunker bar on Spokane St. in Post Falls, for the building fund for Newbyginnings. O.C.0800, KSU 0830. Registration 0900, KSU 1000.

Sargent at arms report:

Secretary’s report:

License and Insurance. If you have not provided the information, you are not in good standing with the club, you will not get credit for any rides until the information is provided.

Treasurer’s report:

Elvis: We are ending floating dues, hence forth dues will be for the current year only. 12 months, January through December.

Panheads bell is not a toy! Every ring is special and meaningful. All members are asked to guard against the misuse. Treat the bell as sacred CVR property!

Its intent is for HONOR. Before rides 3 quick rings – 5-minute warning for pre-ride brief. During the moment of silence, 3 rings to remember the fallen at 2 second intervals then an additional 2 seconds to complete the silence of honor. For special circumstances, Per President, Vice President and or the E –Board when fitting.

Ride or event leader will decide who rings the bell for that ride or event. This will be considered to be a great honor. Volunteers will be considered. President and or Vice president can override the selections. Members must be in good standing with the club to have this honor.

Hansel: Nothing Currently.

Skite: Nothing Currently.

Ride & event committee:

Hansel: will post ride and events on the member’s page on Facebook.

POW/MIA:

SCOUT: All the designs for shirts somehow were deleted. Need to be resubmitted before the end of June. New submissions must be submitted on or before 6/20/25.

Resource report:

BBW: doing very good. People know who we are and love what we are doing.

Outreach center report:

If you drop something on the floor pick it up, don’t just walk away leaving it for someone else. Let’s keep our house clean.

Store report: (Flip flop, Stitch, Conda, Momma Bear, Stogie, Nuggets & Pricilla).

We have to get new bids for the merchandise before we can order. Prices have gone up considerably.

By-Laws committee: you must be a voting member to attend.

6-9-25 Next By-Laws committee meeting 1830.

We will be adding use and control of Pan Head’s bell to the By-laws.

Fish hooks Memorial will be 6-23-25 at the Eagles club in Eatonville WA. 1300-1700. we have made some reservations at Mill Village Hotel 210 E. center St. Phone (360) 214-5164. Some are riding over on Saturday and back on Monday. If you want to attend, see the Members Facebook page for available beds or make your own reservation.

C.O.C. We will not attend this year.
