    COMBAT VET RIDERS

    General meeting minutes.

    May 06, 2026

    Call to order: 1835 Members/auxiliary & guests: 58

    Officers: President; Jeremiah, Vice President; Ginger, Sargent at arms; Elvis, Secretary; Dawg, Treasure; Hansel and Spider, Advocates; Skite, Puddles and Jamz.

    Pledge, Moment of silence: SA.

    President’s report:

    Only Voting members are allowed to attend Voting member meetings. Only exceptions are by special invite.

    Participation and positive vibes.

    Vets’ forum. Possibility of a booth. BBW is waiting for more info, He will update us as he gets the info.

    07/10, 11 and 12 / 26 East Meets West. Lewiston fair grounds

    07/10/26 Ruby Claw (Greta) Spaghetti feed.

    07/11/26 Ruby Claw, Poker run. Breakfast will be available.

    Vice president’s report:

    We are tightening up our meetings. Back to the By-Laws.

    No more side bars.

    Sargent at arms report:

    We need to work on communication.

    We ride as a group, Stay together. Stay safe and ride your ride don’t override your abilities.

    05/16/26 (KSU PVOC 1100) Armed Forces Day. Arrive at Pastime 1200, ceremony 1230. Leave for Knucklehead at 1330.They want us to provide an Honor Guard and flags. Puddles has the lead on this.

    Secretary’s report:

    Remember, if I don’t have proof of your insurance and endorsement on your driver’s license you will not get credit for any rides. (Several people have been on rides that they will not credit for.)

    Life flight and Airlift paperwork has been submitted and will be in effect by the 15 of May.

    05/21/26 approximately, TBD. Beyond the Call of Duty / End of Watch Ride to Remember will be returning from Washington DC. Escort into town. More details to come. This is their only trip this year, they need to raise a lot more money to do more.

    5/23/26 poker run to fundraise behind the badge – End of watch. More to follow.

    For the enhanced concealed carry, it will be June 28TH, 0900. you have to bring your own handgun and 100 rounds of ammo. It will cost $125.00. Remember we get free dry camping for this.

    If you are able to help in the store and are not on the committee, let me know as that will count as a event.

    Advocates report:

    Skite: Nothing currently.

    Puddles: Not present.

    Jamz: Nothing currently.

    05/09/26 1000-1400. Fundraiser 5.11 Tactical.

    Booth at the Airshow, we should talk with Teresa Hart about joining us, it would be nice to inform the men and women at Fairchild of what we and Newbyginnings do every day.

    Memorial Day honors.

    05/23/26 Idaho fallen Brothers and Sisters. Times will be posted on Facebook.

    05/25/26 Flag change at illuminating courage. Times will be posted on Facebook.

    05/25/26 Washington fallen Brothers and Sisters Times will be posted on Facebook.

    06/13/26 American Legion, Honor ride.

    06/13/26 Legacy Vets, Honor ride.

    The Lolo pass ride is canceled or will be rescheduled.

    POW/MIA:

    Gunz:

    Next meeting is 5/20/26 @1800.

    Pricilla is ready to start receiving baskets and donations. They will be stored off site this year to save the OC from getting so cluttered.

    Resource report:

    BBW: What we help with. (Past due rent or mortgages, utility bills, car repairs. We do not help people move!) We help with basic needs only.

    We have helped approx. 50 Vets so far this year.

    Outreach center report:

    Fallout: Needs a few minutes.

    Remember to leave things the way you found them.

    Store report: (Flip flop, Just Rob, Stitch, Conda, Momma Bear, Stogie, Nuggets & Pricilla).

    Panhead shirts are in, come get them.

    We still have previous Newby-Beyer’s shirts from 2024 and 2025, $10.00 ea.

    Auxiliary report:

    05/09/26 Potato bake 1800-2000. $10.00 per person.

    05/14/26 1500-2200 (3-10) Fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse, Both Spokane and Coeur d’ Alene restaurants.
